China Cup International Regatta – Outdoor Event Layout

China Cup International Regatta is one of the most famous international sailing events in China. At the same time, it is also one of the largest and most influential sailing events in Asia.

The competition is hosted by the China Sailing Association and is held every year in Shenzhen, China. The China Cup sailing competition started in 2007 and has been successfully held for many times. The competition attracts top sailors and teams from around the world.

The organizers divide the participating teams into multiple groups of different levels, such as International Cross-Ocean Regatta (IRC), Gulf 34 Class, J/80 Class, and China Domestic Regatta. They set the race track near the yacht dock between Shenzhen and the South China Sea. Races usually include multiple voyages such as offshore races, transoceanic races and ocean races.

At the same time, the competition also held a number of additional events, including pilot races, dinghy races, children’s sailing events, etc. Opportunities are provided for sailing enthusiasts of all levels to participate. As an illustration, the China Cup Sailing Competition is not only a sports competition, but also a platform to promote exchanges and cooperation in sailing culture at home and abroad. During the competition, sailing cultural festivals, forums and exchange activities were also held, allowing participating teams and audiences to have a deeper understanding and experience of the charm of sailing. In addition, the China Cup sailing competition has become one of the most influential sailing events in China and even Asia with its professionalism, rich and diverse events and international participation. Therefore, it promotes the development and improvement of China’s sailing industry.

Contents of outdoor event layout include:

• Design and production of start and end signs. Design, production and installation of route signage.
• Construction of music stage/performance stage.
• Arrangement of temporary rest and supply stations. Medical and health points.
• Festive atmosphere decoration: including balloons, flags, flower beds, banners, etc., used to create a joyful and lively atmosphere. In addition, there is the production and installation of knife flags and on-site signage.
• Audience seats and viewing areas: Set up seats and viewing areas for spectators to watch the game.
• Exhibition and promotion area: Provide arrangements for commercial exhibitions, sports equipment, health promotion and other related activities for contestants and audiences.
• Queuing area and pick-up area: provide a place for contestants to pick up competition supplies and deposit and withdraw items.
• Media Area: An area provided for reporters and photographers to cover the game.
